First Xbox One Ships from Factory

In addition to learning the actual release date for the console and that more units are now available for purchase than we had originally believed Major Nelson revealed to the gaming community that the first shipment of Xbox One consoles has been sent out of the factory. In the Major Nelson reveal he showed a pallet of consoles in the process of delivery with special instructions included not to sell or display the consoles until their release date on the 22nd of November. The initial price for a unit is marked at $500 which the company believes to be a fair price compared to the PS4 which they have said is worth $100 less than their asked price for the Xbox One. I hope this is as exciting for you as it was for me, we are growing closer and closer to getting our hands on the new generation of consoles!

Hey everyone if you were disappointed to learn that you were unable to sign up to receive the new Xbox One on launch day because you didn’t sign up early enough I have some good news! Along with letting us know that the release date for the console is scheduled for November 22nd 2013 Microsoft also announced that they have produced more day one consoles to be released for sale through certain retailers across the globe. The company has been very pleased with the excitement and pre-orders and due to the fact that their initial inventory had already sold out the company has found a way to increase the available units for more consumers to get their chance to get the unit. So far Best Buy, the Microsoft Store and the UK game retailer GAME are the only confirmed places to take advantage and sign up to receive one of the additional units and they are limited so if you plan on signing up I would get on it ASAP. Hope that if you want the console on day one you get the news quick, otherwise keep gaming and having fun everyone!

Blog Update

Hey everyone! I wanted to apologize for not creating any new posts since I started up the blog. Despite the lack of posts I have been working hard on the page by filling out my general information pages about the various systems that we all know and love. So far I have completed updating the first generation console pages with all the information you could want to know about the earliest consoles in the industry and I am beginning the process of the second generation consoles. I appreciate everyone’s patience in waiting for new posts and I promise that once I complete my background pages I will be more focused on actual posts. I just really want to have a nice looking page with a lot of good information to back my posts once I begin trying to increase the page traffic. Hope all is well with you and that you are all getting your games on!
